Ying Jie is a final-year undergraduate student at Nanyang Technological University. Her research interests are in bilingualism, biliteracy and cognitive neuropsychology in sleep. Her current research project involves investigating the influence of orthographic depth of Mother Tongue languages on reading performance in English. In her free time, she likes to play the violin and watch turtles swim in ponds.
