Dr. Chiao-Yi Wu is currently a Lecturer (Education Research Scientist) in the Centre for Research in Child Development (CRCD) at the National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU). She is also the Lead for Science of Learning in Emerging Skills, affiliated with the Clinical Brain Lab at NTU. Trained in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience, her research focuses on the neurobiology of language, reading, and mathematical processing. She employs multimodal methods combining behavioural assessment and neuroimaging techniques (MRI, fNIRS) to investigate typical and atypical development of literacy and numeracy skills.
