How does working memory support reading and mathematical processing? We embarked on a meta-analysis to reveal the working memory network as a domain-general mechanism for reading and math. Check out our poster presented at the Organization for Human Brain Mapping conference!
New course: Brain Literacy for Educators
In this semester, Dr. Wu is teaching a new course titled 'Brain Literacy for Educators' within the minor program in Science of Learning. It is offered to both NTU and NIE undergraduate students.

Dr. Wu gave a presentation titled 'Neurocognitive Mechanisms of Effective Biliteracy' at the NTU-MIND Symposium on Diversity of the MIND on 3 Dec 2020.
Dr. Chiao-Yi Wu and the team joined NIE
Dr. Wu has officially joined as Lecturer (Research Scientist) in the Centre for Research in Child Development at the National Institute of Education from October 2020. The team has also moved to NIE!
