Amirah is a URECA student in NTU researching on the difference between children and adult’s neural networks when reading. Some of her research interests include Dr. Adrian Owen’s work on consciousness and the ‘gray zone’ as well as Neurolinguistics, particularly on language rehabilitation for aphasia patients. Outside the lab, she regularly plays contact rugby for the school team as well as a local women’s rugby club.
